A light, bubbly, and festive non-alcoholic drink combining tart cranberry juice with aromatic rosemary and fresh lime, perfect for summer parties and casual refreshment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) 100% cranberry juice (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water (plain or lemon-flavored)
  • 12 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 12 teaspoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Optional: Prepare rosemary simple syrup by simmering ½ cup (120 ml) water with ½ cup (100 g) sugar and 2 rosemary sprigs for 5 minutes. Let cool and strain.
  2. Juice the lime to get about 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice and set aside.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes to chill the drink without diluting too fast.
  4. Pour 1 cup (240 ml) cranberry juice and the lime juice over the ice.
  5. Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of honey, agave syrup, or 1-2 tablespoons of rosemary simple syrup if using.
  6. Gently bruise one rosemary sprig by pressing it between your palms to release oils, then drop it into the glass.
  7. Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water to preserve bubbles.
  8. Give a gentle stir with a long spoon to mix without flattening the fizz.
  9. Garnish with an extra rosemary sprig or a few fresh cranberries and serve immediately.

Notes

Bruise rosemary gently to release oils without bitterness. Pour sparkling water last to keep bubbles. Adjust sweetness gradually to balance tartness. Pre-chill sparkling water and glasses for best results. Can batch-make cranberry, lime, and sweetener base up to 2 days ahead; add sparkling water and rosemary before serving.
