A simple, refreshing morning tonic combining pink Himalayan salt, fresh lemon juice, and raw honey to support hydration, digestion, and a gentle detox.

Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt (fine grain)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice (about 1 medium lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon Raw Honey
  • 1 cup Warm Water (240 ml / 8 fl oz)

Instructions

  1. Warm 1 cup (240 ml / 8 fl oz) of water until warm but not boiling, around 110°F (43°C).
  2. Roll the lemon firmly on the counter, cut in half, and juice to get 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Strain seeds if necessary.
  3. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt into the lemon juice and allow it to dissolve slightly.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey and stir vigorously until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour the warm water over the lemon, salt, and honey mixture and stir gently to combine all flavors.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or saltiness as desired.
  7. Enjoy immediately, sipping slowly.

Notes

Use warm, not hot water to preserve honey’s enzymes. Roll lemon before juicing for more juice. Use fine pink salt to avoid gritty texture. Adjust sweetness and saltiness to taste. Can add ginger, mint, or coconut water for variations. Best enjoyed fresh and warm. Store lemon juice and salt mix separately if preparing ahead.
