These frozen yogurt covered blueberry bites are a quick, easy, and refreshing snack perfect for hot days, beach trips, or anytime you want a cool, guilt-free treat. They combine the natural sweetness of blueberries with a creamy yogurt coating that freezes into a delightful crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300 grams) fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup (240 ml) of Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract if using. Stir gently until well mixed.
  2. Chill the yogurt mixture in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to help it stick better.
  3. Rinse 2 cups (300 grams) of fresh blueberries and pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  4. Using toothpicks or a small fork, dip each blueberry into the chilled yogurt, coating it evenly but not too thickly. Let excess drip off back into the bowl.
  5. Arrange the coated blueberries spaced apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet to avoid sticking.
  6. Freeze the tray flat in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the yogurt is completely firm.
  7. Once frozen solid, transfer the bites to a freezer-safe container or zip-top bag and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Use thick Greek or strained yogurt for best coating. Chill yogurt before dipping to help it stick. Pat blueberries dry thoroughly to prevent yogurt from sliding off. Avoid overcrowding the tray to freeze evenly. Store in freezer up to 2 weeks. Let sit at room temperature 1-2 minutes before eating to soften yogurt coating.
