This savory air fryer turkey breast with herb crust delivers a juicy, flavorful turkey with a golden crust, perfect for holidays or a weeknight treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2–3 pounds boneless, skin-on turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels to help the herb crust stick better and ensure a crispy exterior.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest (if using).
  3. Rub the herb mixture generously all over the turkey breast, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned turkey breast skin-side up in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20 minutes, then flip the turkey breast and cook for another 15–20 minutes.
  6. Halfway through cooking, brush melted butter over the turkey breast for a richer, golden crust.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C).
  8. Let the turkey breast rest for 10 minutes after cooking to help the juices redistribute for maximum tenderness.
  9. Carve into thin slices and serve with your favorite sides.
