This Seven Layer Taco Dip is a vibrant, creamy, cheesy, and spicy dish that’s perfect for parties, game days, and gatherings. It’s quick, easy, and customizable to suit any taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16-ounce can of refried beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • Diced fresh tomatoes
  • Sliced black olives (optional)
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Spread a 16-ounce can of refried beans evenly across the bottom of your serving dish.
  2. Layer 1 cup of sour cream over the beans, using a spatula to make it smooth.
  3. Spread 1 cup of guacamole over the sour cream. If using store-bought guacamole, give it a quick stir to ensure it’s smooth.
  4. Add 1 cup of chunky salsa on top of the guacamole. Try not to mix the layers as you spread it out.
  5. Evenly distribute 1 cup of shredded cheese across the salsa layer. Feel free to add more if you love extra cheesy goodness!
  6. Scatter 1 cup of shredded lettuce on top of the cheese. Make sure it’s evenly spread for a balanced bite.
  7. Sprinkle diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped green onions generously over the lettuce layer.
  8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill the dip before serving to help the layers set and flavors meld. Customize the spice level with jalapeños or spicy salsa, and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
