Ingredients

  • Brie cheese, sliced into wedges
  • Goat cheese (plain or herbed)
  • Sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • Mini Babybels or heart-shaped cheese slices
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Blackberries
  • Red grapes, snipped into small clusters
  • Pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • Kiwi or blood oranges, sliced
  • Mini croissants, sliced in half
  • Buttery brioche slices
  • Mini cinnamon rolls or danishes
  • Assorted crackers (multigrain, water crackers, or gluten-free)
  • Prosciutto (optional)
  • Salami roses (optional)
  • Chocolate-dipped strawberries
  • Heart-shaped cookies
  • Mini chocolates or truffles
  • Marshmallows or yogurt-covered pretzels
  • Honey
  • Assorted jams (strawberry, raspberry, apricot)
  • Whipped cream cheese (plain or blended with honey)
  • Edible flowers (food safe, such as pansies or violas)

Instructions

  1. Start with a clean, dry serving board. Optionally, line with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Arrange small bowls or ramekins on the board first. Fill with jams, honey, and whipped cream cheese.
  3. Unwrap cheeses 15 minutes before serving. Arrange brie wedges, goat cheese, and cheddar cubes in different corners. Use a cookie cutter for heart shapes if desired. Drizzle honey over brie if you like.
  4. Fan out mini croissants, brioche slices, and crackers around the cheeses. Alternate colors and textures.
  5. Wash and dry all fruit. Slice strawberries and arrange in piles. Tuck raspberries, blackberries, grapes, and pomegranate seeds into gaps. Fan out kiwi or citrus slices.
  6. If using meats, fold prosciutto and/or salami into ribbons or roll into roses. Nestle between cheeses and crackers.
  7. Place chocolate-dipped strawberries, heart-shaped cookies, and mini chocolates in clusters. Add marshmallows or pretzels near fruits.
  8. Sprinkle edible flowers, mint leaves, or powdered sugar over the top for garnish.
  9. Add mini tongs, cheese knives, and toothpicks. Set out napkins and plates. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Customize the board for dietary needs by using vegan cheeses, gluten-free crackers, or nut-free treats. Assemble up to 30 minutes before serving for best freshness. Use odd numbers for grouping items and mix textures and colors for visual appeal. Let cheeses come to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
