Ingredients

  • Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Green grapes, washed and left whole
  • Red grapes, washed
  • Blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • Pineapple chunks, freshly cut or canned in juice
  • Kiwi slices, peeled and sliced
  • Apple slices, thinly sliced and tossed in lemon juice
  • Mandarin orange segments, peeled
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry all the fruit thoroughly.
  2. Hull and halve the strawberries.
  3. Peel and slice the kiwi.
  4. Core and slice apples thinly, then toss in lemon juice to prevent browning.
  5. Segment the mandarins by peeling and separating the orange pieces.
  6. Cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks, draining canned pineapple well.
  7. Arrange the fruits artfully on a large serving platter or wooden board, grouping similar colors and shapes together and filling gaps with smaller berries.
  8. Add fresh mint leaves as garnish if desired.
  9. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.

Notes

Use ripe but firm fruits for best flavor and appearance. Toss apple slices in lemon juice immediately to prevent browning. Prepare up to 4 hours ahead and keep refrigerated. Optionally sprinkle flaky sea salt or drizzle honey before serving for added flavor.
