A bright and refreshing fruit salad featuring a mix of fresh fruits tossed in a tangy-sweet honey-lime dressing. Perfect for potlucks, brunch, or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1 small pineapple, diced (fresh or canned in juice, drained)
  • 3 tablespoons honey (raw or organic preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 large lime)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash all fresh fruits thoroughly. Hull and quarter the strawberries, peel and dice the mangoes, slice the kiwis, halve the grapes, and dice the pineapple. Place all prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, combine honey, freshly squeezed lime juice, lime zest, and sea salt. Whisk or shake vigorously until well blended and honey is dissolved.
  3. Pour the honey-lime dressing over the fruit in the large bowl. Gently toss with a large spoon or salad tongs until fruit is evenly coated, taking care not to mash softer berries.
  4. Sprinkle chopped fresh mint leaves over the salad and gently toss again (optional).
  5. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Use ripe but firm fruits to avoid mushiness. Toss gently to keep fruit intact. Prepare dressing and fruit shortly before serving for best freshness. Store fruit and dressing separately if prepping ahead. Drain excess juice if fruit releases too much liquid to prevent sogginess.
