A quick and easy fresh juice recipe combining citrus, greens, and a hint of ginger for a natural energy boost. Perfect for busy mornings or a refreshing pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium-sized fresh oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 large green apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup packed fresh spinach, washed thoroughly
  • 2 medium celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) coconut water or filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the oranges and lemon. Core and slice the apple. Chop the celery and ginger into small pieces. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
  2. Add the oranges, apple slices, spinach, celery, and ginger to your blender jar.
  3. Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of coconut water or filtered water to help everything blend smoothly.
  4. Start on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend for about 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is silky and smooth. Pause and stir if needed.
  5. Optional: Pour the blend through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a large bowl or jug to remove pulp.
  6. Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Taste, then add honey or maple syrup if you want a sweeter juice.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate and consume within 24 hours.

Notes

Use fresh ginger sparingly as it can be spicy. For a smoother juice, strain through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag. Use organic oranges if possible for added zest and flavor. If you don’t have coconut water, filtered water works fine. Store juice in an airtight container and consume within 24 hours. Adding a pinch of salt can balance bitterness.
