creamy espresso martini recipe - featured image

A luxurious and easy-to-make cocktail blending rich espresso, smooth vodka, and velvety cream for a frothy, silky finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) vodka
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Kahlúa or coffee liqueur
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) heavy cream
  • 0.5 ounce (15 ml) simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • 3 coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 ounce (30 ml) of hot, fresh espresso and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes. Add vodka, Kahlúa, heavy cream, simple syrup, and the slightly cooled espresso.
  3. Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to chill and create a thick foam.
  4. Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  5. Garnish with three coffee beans on top and serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly brewed espresso for best flavor. Shake vigorously to create a frothy top. For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut or oat cream. Chill martini glasses before serving for best presentation. Store premixed vodka, coffee liqueur, and espresso in fridge up to 24 hours; add cream and shake fresh before serving.
