A quick and easy one-skillet meal combining the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with cheesy, creamy pasta comfort. Perfect for busy weeknights or feeding a crowd.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped parsley, diced tomatoes, pickles

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and brown it, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. Lower heat to medium and add onion and garlic to the skillet. SautΓ© for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Add tomato paste and stir into the onion and garlic mixture. Cook for 1 minute to develop flavor.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add cheese tortellini to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the sauce. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tortellini is tender.
  6. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Let it warm through for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add optional toppings like chopped parsley, diced tomatoes, or pickles if desired.
