From Burnt Toast to Food Blogger
Five years ago, I couldn’t cook an egg without setting off the smoke alarm. True story! I was that person who lived on takeout and considered cereal a perfectly acceptable dinner.
Everything changed when I moved into my first apartment and realized I was spending more on food delivery than rent. That’s when I picked up my first cookbook, determined to figure out this whole “cooking” thing.
Spoiler alert: there were many disasters. Pasta that could double as cement, chicken drier than the Sahara, and don’t even get me started on my first attempt at bread. But somewhere between the failures and the few successes, I fell completely in love with the process.
